Pure, Low-Intervention Wines From Chile's Oldest Vines
Rooted in centuries of living history, Old Vine Imports sources and preserves the ancient winemaking traditions of southern Chile. Rejecting industrial wine models, our portfolio focuses exclusively on meticulously hand-farmed, ungrafted, pre-phylloxera bush vines—some between 100 and 250 years old—nestled in the granitic and basaltic soils of the Bío Bío and Itata Valleys. By partnering with growers dedicated to zero-input agriculture and dry-farming techniques, we import raw, site-specific wines that pulse with the authentic, unadulterated character of the land.
Every vintage we distribute is a preservation project. Grapes are hand-harvested, manually de-stemmed, and allowed to undergo spontaneous fermentation using only native yeasts in traditional open lagars. Free from chemical adjustments, temperature manipulation, or heavy filtration, these iconic País, Sémillon, and Muscat cuvées are not just beverages—they are the liquid history of Chile’s most extreme, historic terroirs.
